Montmartre and the Rue d’Abbesses – Paris

When the sun has just come out and you can still smell the morning dust in the air, you should make your way through the streets of Montmartre. Starting with a little hike up to the Sacre Coeur where you should take your time to soak in that incredible view over Paris. Through the leaves of some trees you can sometimes hush a look on the “Tour Eiffel”. When there aren’t that many people yet, you can watch the artist getting their pencils and working materials ready for the day.
And then, when you have seen enough of the tourist attractions, you walk down the hill to find the bistrot “Coquelicot”. They serve the best french breakfast in whole Paris (all day long). If you are lucky the funny wateriest who goes around humming will wait at your table.
You also don’t have to worry that you don’t get enough food for your money here as the menu portions are quite big. I can assure you that your tummy will be well filled for another exciting day in Paris.
Before you head back to the centre of Paris you shouldn’t miss out a walk down the “Rue d’Abbesses”. It is full of life and it will make you never wanting to leave Paris again.
Love,
Lulu

The “Coquelicot”, 24 Rue des Abbesses, 75018 Paris

One of the best places to buy Macarons in Paris is the “Chocolat Illèné”, 2-4 Rue Tholozé, 75018 Paris
I had to come back one more time to the “Coquelicot”. The beakfast there is just too delicious.
